What is Screen Printing?
The Printwear Company offers a range of printing methods including screen printing. Screen printing is one of the most popular methods of -t-shirt printing. It is a printing technique that consist of mesh being used to transfer ink onto a chosen part material. The space that should be left untouched are blocked by a stencil so the ink only affects the chosen area.
A squeegee is then moved up and down the screen to fill the gaps in the mesh with ink, this results in the ink wetting the parts of the material that needs to be covered. The stencil openings determine the end result of the image. We don’t just screen print on t-shirts, we can screen print on a wide range of garments from hoodies to corporate clothing.
